Yard Waste Disposal

There are several yard waste recycling centers in the Twin Cities. Bring your bagged leaves, grass clippings and other soft-bodied plants for disposal to these centers. Do not mix trash, branches, brush or sticks in with your yard waste.

The Take It Back! program is designed to assist residents in Washington County to conveniently dispose of certain household waste products. Approximately 100 retail stores in Washington County have signed up to be Take It Back! partners. These stores have agreed to take back certain types of household waste products and have agreed to properly recycle or dispose of the products.
